A friend and I went up to the Owens Valley recently to do some bass fishing and had an EPIC day!
First stop was in Lone Pine at Subway to pickup a couple sandwiches. I thought about getting the Pastrami or big Philly cheese Steak but chose a healthier alternative then off we went.
First fishing spot stop, we spent about an hour there but couldn’t even buy a bite, ate breakfast then off to spot number 2.
Second stop we found the mother load. We spent the next 4 or 5 hours there and I ended up catching at least 50 and my friend caught at least 25, all of which were released to fight another day. We didnt bother to take any pictures because nothing real big, they ranged from 8 inches up to about 18 inches but they were still alot of fun.
We dont always have days like yesterday but bottom line, the more you go, the better your chances are of having an epic day.
