Ray, I tried emailing you a few times but it kept getting bounced back stating "Delivery to the following recipients failed" so I figured I'd reply here, hopefully you will see this.

Your comment concerning access to the duct at 60th had me curious so I asked a friend that lives in Palmdale, who knows people that work for the water district, what was up with the fence covering the access. As it turns out some local supervisor with the water disrtict thought it was a great ideal. My friend wrote a letter to the main office complaining about the closure and as it turns out, they are going to remove it, WOO HOO! According to him, they are going to redo the access and it will be back open to foot traffic in the near future.

I went the aqueduct at 60st west in Palmdale and they have install a new fence that cover up the walkin access on both side of the duct upper north side, this make it very differcult . to get into your fishing sites. You have to climb over or under the gates. I have fish the duct for 35yr,this denying us access to fishing site, that was alway open. What is our tax dallor doing for us when they are use to close recreational fishing and walking.
